At Fred Funding, we are committed to helping regular individuals and companies recover money that is rightfully owed to them by government agencies.

If our organization has contacted you, that means that we have identified funds that may be owed to you or a relative of yours.

FRED FUNDING is a taxpayer advocacy organization located in Orlando, Florida. We audit government agencies across the country to locate sums of money owed to private individuals and companies. These monies are generally not found in regular “unclaimed funds” online searches. We find them by searching through government records that show monies owed to companies and individuals. With our experience, we know where to look, what to look for, and what questions to ask.

Once we identify the names of persons who are owed money, we set out to locate them and inform them of the funds owed. Then, with their permission, we can move ahead with the recovery process.

It is important to move swiftly when these types of assets are identified. The agencies holding the money will usually do so for a specific period of time. Once this time period has elapsed, the money can legally forfeit to the government, meaning that the government gets to keep those funds.

We believe those funds should be returned to their rightful owners. This is why we’re committed to our work. This is why we work hard at locating the owners of funds, informing them of the money that they are owed, and helping them to recover their money.

Our Work Process

We work swiftly and efficiently so that your money is recovered as quickly as possible.

If you’ve received a phone call, letter, or e-mail from us, it means that you or a relative of yours is owed money. Please contact us so that we can get the process started.

Once we have spoken and you have verbally agreed to let us work your claim, we will set up a time for a local notary to meet you. Together with the notary you will sign some paperwork allowing us to get started on the claims process. The notary will overnight the documents back to our office.

Most importantly: our organization works on a contingency basis. This means that we're paid ONLY if we are successful collecting your claim. If the claim is unsuccessful, you owe us nothing. There are NO out-of-pocket expenses to you, and we cover all expenses related to the claim until it is paid.

Claims are usually processed in 3-4 months depending on the complexity of the case. Your share of the claim, typically 70-75% of the funds collected, are remitted to you within 30 days of receipt.

Please remember: funds are held by government agencies for only a limited amount of time. If they go unclaimed for too long, they will become the property of the government. We don’t want to see that happen.

Our organization specializes in auditing government records to find monies that are owed to regular individuals and companies. We know where to look and what specific records to look for. If we have contacted you, it’s because we have identified a sum of money that may be owed to you.

We generally find claimants by searching through online directories.

On any given day, the government is holding onto more than $14.8 BILLION dollars that are owed to private entities or individuals. These funds are held by countless departments and agencies throughout the country. Some of the most common sources for these funds are: forgotten apartment or utility security deposits, forgotten bank or retirement accounts, uncashed checks, insurance claims or refunds, class action suits, tax refunds, and escrow accounts. Once you have signed a contingency fee agreement, we will be happy to research and inform you of the exact amount and location of your funds.

The government agencies that we audit typically DO NOT post these unclaimed funds accounts online. If you have performed a search for unclaimed funds and found money, that is most likely NOT the money that we are contacting you about.

We are a registered organization in Orlando, Florida with an online presence. In addition, most of the assets we locate aren't available by searching the internet. Without the aid of an organization like ours, it is unlikely that you'll be notified of your money’s existence by the agency holding it. We are experts in these types of claims and can take care of every step in the claims process to recover your money.

Please remember that the government agencies holding on to your money will only do so for a limited amount of time. If your money is not claimed within this period, it will forfeit to the government and be lost forever. We don’t want to see that happen, it’s your money and we would like for it to be refunded to YOU.
